CSO Spotlight
The Civil Society Organizations Network has released its first electronic newsletter. The Civil Society Spotlight is the first of several issues to be produced, it will provide up-to-date information briefs on CSO initiatives, successes, events, projects and activities.
Civil Society Spotlight – February 2009
The February 2009 issue of CSO's electronic newsletter reports on the intervention of CSO Network, Sana International, Women in Fishing Industry, CMEDA and Kisumu Urban Apostolate Programme joining forces in an emergency response initiative aimed at relief and recovery following the violence and destruction witnessed at the beginning of last year.
This issue also details CSO's involvement in mobilizing the civil society sector, bringing it upto speed with information to enable active participation in emerging national discourses, debates on the reform process and contribution to development of laws that protect and promote the rights of the Kenyan people....read issue
